Glendora schools have a long tradition of providing excellent education to local students that helps them succeed in college and careers. However, many classrooms and school facilities are nearly 70 years old.
Measure G repairs and upgrades our aging schools without increasing the current tax rate.It simply extends the voter-approved rate already in place without an increase.
Voting YES on G will:
Repair deteriorating roofs, plumbing, sewer, electrical, and HVAC systems
Update classrooms, labs, and technology for science, math, engineering, and career training
Remove hazardous materials, including asbestos and lead pipes
Improve student safety and campus security, including alarms, cameras, locks, fencing, and emergency systems
Mandatory Fiscal Accountability
A detailed project list and required public disclosure of all spending
All funds stay local and cannot be taken by the state or federal government
Independent oversight and annual audits are required
No funds may be used for administrator or employee salaries or benefits
